Potals and Potato Vegetable Curry

Ingredients

Potals – 100 gms. chopped
Potato – 1 chopped
Onion – 1 big chopped
Tomato – 1 chopped
Ginger garlic paste – ½ tsp.
Kitchen king masala – ¾ tsp.
Green chillies – 2 chopped
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp.
Turmeric- ½ tsp.
Salt to taste
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp.
Cumin – 1 tsp.
Urad dal – ½ tsp.
Hing – ¼ tsp.
Oil – 2 tbsp.

Method

  1. Take a small pressure cooker. Add oil and once hot, add the mustard seeds, cumin, urad dal, and hing.
  2. Fry for a few seconds and add ginger garlic paste and sauté.
  3. Now add onion pieces and green chillies and fry till translucent.
  4. Now add the tomato pieces. When it turns mushy add the masala powder, red chilli powder and turmeric.
  5. Now add the vegetables. Stir well and cover and cook for a few minutes.
  6. Add water and salt and pressure cook for 3 whistles till done.
