The most sought after accompaniment for any South Indian breakfast. Be it at home or in a restaurant, you can find innumerable styles of the most loved Coconut Chutney. Young or old alike just love to dip into it and enjoy a mouthful with their idli, dosa or upma.
Ingredients
Coconut pieces – 1 cup
Roasted Peanuts – 2 tbsp.
Cumin – 1 tsp.
Green chillies – 2 or more acc. to your liking
To temper
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp.
Cumin – 1 tsp.
Red chillies – 1
Split urad dal – ½ tsp.
Oil – 1 tsp.
Method
- Blend all the ingredients together.
- Do the tempering and pour over chutney.
