Bendakaya – 1/4 kg.
Fresh Coconut – 3 tbsp.
Garlic – 3 pods
Green chillies – 2 or 3
Oil – 2 tbsp.
Salt to taste
- Wash and chop the bendakaya into medium size pieces. They should be dry.
- Coarsely grind or hand pound the coconut, green chillies and garlic together and keep aside.
- In a pan, add oil and once hot, add the bendakaya pieces. Fry well. Once they are cooked, add salt and mix well.
- Then add the masala mix and stir everything together. Fry for a couple of minutes. It is ready to be served with hot rice.
