Ingredients
Carrot – 1 cup, long thin slices
Kalonji (black cumin or nigella seeds) – ½ tsp.
Methi seeds powder – 1 tsp.
Mustard seeds powder – 1 ½ tsp.
Hing or asafoetida – ¼ tsp.
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp.
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp.
Salt – 1 tsp. ( set to taste )
Mustard oil – 1 to 2 tbsp.
Method
- Mix all the ingredients in a glass bowl except oil. Keep aside.
- Heat the oil and pour over the carrot mix. Combine well. Serve.
- Can store in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days and consume.
