Ingredients
Tuvar dal – ½ glass
Water – 1 glass or a ¼ more
Beerakaya or Ridge gourd – 1/ 2 cup pieces
Tomato – 1 big chopped
Green chillies – 1 sliced
Salt to taste
Turmeric- ½ tsp.
For Tempering
Mustard – ½ tsp.
Split urad dal – ½ tsp.
Curry leaves – a few
Oil – 1 tsp.
Method
- Take a pressure cooker and add all the ingredients of dal, ridge gourd pieces, tomato, and green chillies into it.
- Pour in the water and pressure cook till done.
- Add salt and turmeric and mix well.
- Do the tempering and serve hot.
