Potatoes – 3 (boiled and mashed)
Onion – 1 chopped
Green chillies – 2, chopped
Curry leaves – a few
Coriander – 2 tbsp.
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp.
Jeera or cumin – 1 tsp.
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp.
Salt to taste
Oil – 2 tbsp.
- Put a fry pan on the stove and heat up the oil. Then add the mustard, cumin and curry leaves to it. Let them splutter.
- Now add in the chopped onions and green chillies. Add in the salt and turmeric powder. Saute till onion is cooked.
- Once this is cooled down, mix in the mashed potato and check for taste. Lastly combine the chopped coriander with the potato masala and serve.
