Yellow cucumber – 1 small, peeled and chopped into pieces
Onion – 1, chopped
Green chillies – 2, chopped
Tomato – 2, chopped
Oil – 1 tbsp.
Coriander seeds – 1 tbsp.
Black pepper powder – ½ tsp.
Turmeric – a pinch
Lemon juice – ½ tsp.
Salt to taste
- Take a kadai or saucepan, add oil and once hot, add the green chillies, coriander seeds and pepper powder and fry for a minute. Remove and keep aside.
- In the same pan now add into it the onion and tomato pieces. Fry well till done.
- Now in the grinder jar, first blitz the mix earlier kept aside along with the yellow cucumber pieces. Add the turmeric and salt and grind well. Then add the onion tomato mix to it and blend. Mix in the lemon juice and remove into a serving bowl.
- It is ready to be eaten with hot rice.
