Barbati Potato Kura | Yard Long Beans Potato Dry Veg


Barbati – 200 gms. chopped
Onion – 1 chopped
Potato – 1 chopped
Red chilli powder – 2 tsp.
Turmeric- ½ tsp.
Salt to taste
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp.
Cumin – 1 tsp.
Urad dal – ½ tsp.
Curry leaves – few
Oil – 2 tbsp.


  1. Take a small pressure cooker. Add oil and once hot, add the mustard seeds, cumin, urad dal and curry leaves.
  2. Now add onion pieces and fry till translucent.
  3. Now add the potato and barbati. Stir.
  4. Cover and cook for a couple of minutes. Now add salt, chilli powder and turmeric.
  5. Add water and pressure cook for 3 whistles till done.
