Ingredients
Beans – ¼ kg chopped
Potato – 1 chopped
Turmeric – ¼ tsp.
Chilli powder – ½ tsp.
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp.
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp.
Curry leaves – a few
Salt to taste
Oil – 1 tbsp.
Water for boiling
Method
- Take a small pressure cooker and add the chopped beans and potato pieces, turmeric and a little bit of salt together with just enough water to cover and cook for 3 whistles.
- Take a kadai and put oil into it. When hot, add in the mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves.
- Fry well for a few seconds. Now add in the boiled vegetables and bit of salt.
- Fry for a minute and add in the chilli powder as required. Switch off the stove and serve hot.
