Ingredients
Rice rava – 1 cup
Water – 2 cups
Channa dal – 2 tsp.
Split urad dal – 2 tsp.
Yellow Moong dal – 2 tsp.
Oil – 4 to 5 tbsp.
Green chillies – 2 or 3
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp.
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp.
Salt to taste
Method
1. Take a big vessel, put oil into it. Once hot, add the dals, chillies and lastly mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Fry for a minute.
2. Now add the water and salt. Give it a stir. Once lightly boiling, add the rice rava and mix well. Taste for salt and add a bit more if necessary.
3. Cook on a low flame for 10 to 15 mins. till done. You can also pressure cook for 3 whistles on medium flame.
4. Serve hot with gunpowder or pickle at the side.
